This Saturday we have a packed schedule of events as we near the end of the season and also get involved with the SuSTAinable St Albans week. Here’s the full list of events that anyone can get along to and join in.
9.00am St Albans Parkrun
We have several of our fans participating in this Saturday’s 5k parkrun by wearing their club colours. Location: Verulamium Park (starts and finishes by the car park outside the Verulamium Museum).
11.00am Health and Heritage Saints Stroll
Join members of the Saints City Trust for a health walk, encompassing some significant locations in the history of our beloved football club.
1.00pm Supporters’ Walking Bus
Join our fans as they meet up at the clocktower in the city centre from 12.45am before forming a ‘walking bus’ to make the journey to Clarence Park for the afternoon’s match!
1.00pm Sponsored walk at Clarence Park
A number of supporters will be walking the perimeter of the pitch at Clarence Park to raise money for the Peace Hospice, a cause supported by the club president, Malcolm McMillan. Donations can be made at: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/saintssponsoredwalk
3.00pm Saints vs Hampton & Richmond Borough
The big match! The Saints welcome Hampton and Richmond Borough to Clarence Park for the final home fixture in the National League South. A win will massively boost the Saints chances of finishing in the play off places!
We are expecting a big crowd, with 2000 discount vouchers distributed to local schools, so please arrive in plenty of time and we have some fantastic ales available from the local 3 Brewers brewery as well as plenty of food options.
7.30pm End of Season awards
The players and management will join supporters for a fabulous evening at Verulam Golf Club to celebrate the season’s achievements both on and off the pitch. Tickets are priced £20 with a limited number available from the club shop in the afternoon.
