St Albans City Football Club is delighted to announce that Percy Kiangebeni has tonight put pen to paper on a new 18-month deal at Clarence Park. The former Enfield Town midfielder has been a revelation in recent weeks, forging an commanding central defensive partnership with Tarik Moore-Azille in addition to scoring a brace of spectacular goals in the recent victories over East Thurrock United and most recently, Dartford.
Saints manager Ian Allinson isn’t surprised at the quick progression shown by Kiangebeni since his arrival in the summer and fully expects the player to play a pivotal role in the club’s push for promotion this season.
Percy is a great lad and a real character in the dressing room but more importantly he’s young and hungry to learn which is exactly the kind of player we like at the football club.
The way he’s conducted himself in recent weeks has been fantastic and I really do believe at the age of 20 he has a bright future in the game.
Everyone at Clarence Park congratulates Percy on his new deal.
