Mental health awareness week – players perspective

During this mental health awareness week, we’re highlighting the effects lock-down can have, not only on supporters but on the players too.

Anxiety is a key element of mental health and Saints defender Michael Clark has taken to his blog to outline the importance of ‘Healthy Body, Healthy Mind.’

“If something isn’t right, look to fix or improve that situation. It’s not going to get any better whilst parked in your mind and will gradually eat away at you. Whether that’s seeking help from a professional, or even taking it upon yourself to read up on ways to improve and become more positive”.
