New arrival David Longe-King made his debut for England C yesterday (Wednesday 5th June) in a 2-0 defeat against Estonia U23’s.
David played the full 90 minutes and despite the result put in a commanding display at the back, making a number of last ditch tackles to deny a strong home side.
Following the game City boss Ian Allinson couldn’t hide his delight for the 24 year old
“I’m very proud to see David feature today. He deserved the call-up and has shown what he can do. His performance demonstrates why we brought him back to the club and I think everyone associated with St Albans City can be proud”.
