Chairman’s New Year message

Lawrence Levy addresses supporters ahead of 2019

On behalf of John and myself, the officials, players and all the staff at St Albans City, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all fans, friends and sponsors of the club a very Happy New Year.

It’s a very important time for us as we move into January so let’s all keep supporting Ian and the players as we see how far this season can take us.

Now more than ever, I wish to emphasise the need for the us all to support this club in the right way. As and when we are in a position to celebrate a goal or a win, I would urge us all to continue to do so this with respect to ourselves, the club as well as our opponents.

Tomorrow we play Hemel Hempstead at Vauxhall Road and I would like to remind all supporters that all types of anti-social behaviour is not acceptable, including the use of flares and smoke bombs. We have some of the finest and most passionate fans in football and I ask for all of our loyal fans to be diligent in reporting anything that does not meet the standards we expect for St Albans City FC.

Happy New Year once again!
